I qualified as a Dental Hygienist from Guy’s and St. Thomas’ hospital in 2008
and have worked around London in a variety of different practices ever since.
I started as a locum hygienist at the Walkern Road practice soon after qualifying and I have stayed ever since!
I really like the quality and perfectionism of the dental work at Walkern Road and the aesthetic results are better than any of the London practices I have worked in.
I enjoy treating all kinds of different people but particularly enjoy working with nervous patients, we have a very relaxed, informal and friendly manner at Walkern Road which helps patients feel at ease.
My role as a dental hygienist is focused on the prevention of dental disease. Good oral hygiene and diet along with regular scaling and polishing are essential to keep the mouth healthy and in tip-top condition, thus preventing any future dental disease.
A healthy mouth is also important in preventing many systemic health issues and diseases as well, so a healthy mouth equates to a healthy body and vice versa!
I am passionate about health in general and am currently studying Naturopathic Nutrition, to enable me to care for patients more holistically in preventing dental disease.
